Privacy Policy

Effective: April 2026

1. What we collect

When you contact us, subscribe to a list, or use a Pure Horse digital tool, we collect: your email address, any name and message you provide, the type of inquiry you make, and standard analytics data such as page views and approximate location. If you become a client, we additionally hold the information you provide about your horse's nutrition program.

2. How we use your data

Email addresses and form submissions are used to respond to your inquiry, deliver the resource you requested, and send relevant Pure Horse content if you have opted in. Client data is used to inform Montana's recommendations. Analytics data is used to understand which content is useful so we can improve it.

3. How long we keep it

Subscription emails: retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages: retained for two years for follow-up purposes, then archived. Client engagement data: retained for the duration of your engagement and for seven years thereafter to support continuity of care if you return. Analytics data: retained per the standard analytics retention policy of our provider.

4. Third-party services

We use Resend to send and route emails, and Google Analytics for privacy-friendly traffic analytics. We do not sell your data to any third party. We will never trade or share your contact information with feed companies, supplement companies, or any other commercial partner.

5. Your rights

You have the right to request access to the data we hold about you, to correct it, to request deletion, and to receive a portable copy. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@pure.horse. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

6. CCPA (California residents)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information. Pure Horse does not sell personal information.

7. GDPR (EU and UK residents)

If you are in the EU or UK, your data is processed lawfully on the basis of legitimate interest, contract, or consent depending on the activity. You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. You can exercise these rights via privacy@pure.horse and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies

Pure Horse uses minimal cookies — primarily for analytics, set with privacy-friendly defaults. We do not deploy advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser without affecting your ability to use the site.
